Thank you for your interest in I-START, a New York City Urban Teacher Residency.  In order to be eligible for the 2010-2011 cohort, please follow the application process below.

Step 1:  Complete the I-START registration form.

Step 2:  Complete a New York City Teaching Fellows application.

All applicants to I-START will complete the application process for the New York City Teaching Fellows, which includes submission of a résumé, cover letter, and two essays, as well as an interview if invited.  By completing the I-START registration form in Step 1, you ensure that you will be considered for the I-START Program.  You may receive communication from New York City Teaching Fellows about your application status and to register for an interview, so please note that throughout the process you are being considered for I-START. 

If you have already applied to the New York City Teaching Fellows and now are interested in applying to the I-START Program, you do not need to complete a second NYCTF application.  By completing the I-START registration form in Step 1, you will be considered for both programs. 

Application Deadline: The application deadline has been extended to Monday, February 8, 2010. You must complete the I-START online registration form and the NYCTF application to be considered for the 2010-2011 I-START cohort.
