Oliver Frankel – Board Chair

Mr. Frankel is a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs in the Securities Division. He works on developing new businesses and products in the Credit Trading businesses. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1993 and became Managing Director in 1997. more»
Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Frankel was a Vice President at Credit Lyonnais where he managed North American Interest Rate Options, and was a Vice President in Interest Rate Option Trading, for Banque Indosuez.
A native of London, Mr. Frankel graduated in Mathematics from Cambridge University and then proceeded to postgraduate degrees from London University and from UCLA. He has served as Treasurer of the board for the New York chapter of the Mankind Project. He lives in New York City with his two sons, Miles and Charles aged 16 and 13 respectively.

Ken Bradt

over AFS, Mr. Bradt founded and ran (separately, for a total of 13 years) ING Baring's and DZ Bank’s Esoteric Asset Backed Principal Finance Groups, where he originated, structured and managed over $5 billion in exposure for these banks.
Mr. Bradt is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his MBA in finance and an MA in international relations; and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BS in Business (Phi Beta Kappa) with a 14 course minor in French. Ken spent his junior year in Paris with Sweet Briar College’s JYF program, and subsequently lived in worked there for 3 years, becoming fluent in the language.
Ken is also a veteran of the Navy, where he was an anti-submarine warfare specialist, and a Search And Rescue Frogman.

Joseph Luft

An educational leader and advocate at Brooklyn International High School for six years, Mr. Luft served as an ESL/humanities teacher.
Mr. Luft has a BA in History and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College and an MA in ESL/Secondary Education from The George Washington University in Washington DC. He is a graduate of the New Leaders for New Schools urban principal preparation program and completed his residency at IHS at LaGCC in 2004.
Meena Mansharamani
Meena Mansharamani is a seasoned strategist and innovator and has recently used her expertise to serve The Robin Hood Foundation, Wal-Mart and Collective Intellect. Meena was responsible for both short and long-term product and package innovation to help transform the portfolio to be more healthful, targeted and premium. She also oversaw foundational consumer insights to drive portfolio management, innovation, brand marketing and channel and customer strategies.
Prior to joining PCNA, Meena was Vice President of Corporate Strategy at PepsiCo for four years. In that capacity, she worked with PepsiCo’s CEO and CFO on top-line growth initiatives across PepsiCo’s portfolio of businesses. She focused on two key areas: developing a new approach and focus to PepsiCo’s innovation; and, strengthening the company’s emphasis on health and wellness.
Previously, Meena was Vice President in the Consumer Goods and Retail Practice of A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm. During her 10-year tenure at A.T. Kearney, she served a variety of industries, including apparel, automotive, transportation and financial services.
Meena is a Henry Crown Fellow in the Class of 2007 at the Aspen Institute. She received her MBA from Wharton and her MA/BA from Harvard University.
Michael Pollack

She has provided guidance on broad school reform initiatives in New York City and State, as well as nationally.
Claire attended McGill University and Brooklyn College as an undergraduate and received masters and doctoral degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Norma Vega – Board Secretary

Ms. Vega is currently the principal of ELLIS Prep Academy School serving sixteen to twenty year old immigrants. Prior to this she was Special Services Manager at Children’s First Network addressing more»
issues related to ELL youth guidance concerns. Ms. Vega was one of the founding members and former principal of Bronx International High School, which opened in September 2001. She joined the school as a social worker and held that position for three years prior to becoming principal in September 2004. Before arriving at Bronx IHS, Ms. Vega was a social worker at Brooklyn IHS and Legacy High School.
Ms. Vega earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, received her MA in Social Work from Columbia University and a MA in Educational Administration from Bank Street College's Principals Institute.
